SNU5 features the new dripstop module which prevents the tap from dripping during heat up. This saves water and reduces scale build-up inside the tap and sink. SNU5 also features the Thermostop function prevents unnecessary heating of the mixer tap.

In addition the improved insulation which further reduces standby power consumption and heat loss. Maximum inlet water pressure is 500 kPa, if the water pressure is over 500 kPa then a Pressure limiting valve is required. (supplied by others). As per AS/NZS 3500.4:2003 the SNU range does not require a plumbed safe tray (5.4.2) or a relief valve (5.9.1). As per the NZ Building Code (6.13.1) the Stiebel Eltron SNU range can be used for kitchen and laundry sinks but not sanitary fixtures used for personal hygiene (showers, baths, hand basins and bidets). 

Please note this water heater is for the heater only and excludes tapware.
